Why electron in an atom revolves surrounding nucleus

Nucleusis a central positive charge of an atom. It consists with proton and neutron.  Proton is positively changed and neutron is charge neutral.

Hence,  nucleus charge is positive. According to Rutherford atomic model all of the mass of an atom is concentrated into nucleus.

In universe between to object there have an attractive force.  That is called gravitational force. But within an atom the attractive force between nucleus and electron is electrostatic force

Every electrostatic force is the combination of two forces. One is Centripetal force and another is centrifugal force.

Centripetal force acts towards centre and Centrifugal force directed toward opposite of centre.

Electrostatic force concerned with rotation. Any object involved in circular motion excerts two force.  A force directed to centre is centripetal and a force directed towards opposite of centre along with a straight line is called centrifugal force.
